Our students come from all walks of life. We have a variety of ages and abilities. That's the beauty of Tae Kwon-do. The training is designed so that you can improve at your own rate side by side with others who maybe older/younger, fitter/ not so fit, male/female. We all pull together to motivate and encourage one another to achieve our individual goals. Whether that is improving your fitness, gaining the next belt or becoming world champion!
All this contributes to the great atmosphere we have at at Chelmsford TKD.
We are very lucky at Chelmsford TKD to have a number of hardworking, dedicated and longstanding Black Belt students. These include other Instructors from the Essex area so there is always a wealth of experience on hand.
But don't just take our word for it, see what our students have to say...
"My son had started Taekwondo a few years ago and had really enjoyed it. When my daughter reached 5 I decided it was a good idea to get her started – I didn’t realize it but she wanted me to do it with her! That was 2 years ago and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. We are allowed to learn and progress through the grades at our own pace. The instructors run excellent classes aimed at all ages and levels and the senior grades are all friendly and extremely patient and helpful. I would highly recommend Taekwondo and the Chelmsford classes in particular."

"I originally signed up my son Ruben (aged 7 at the time ) to join Chelmsford TKD to get fit, learn discipline, focus and timing, and of course have fun. I quickly realised that there was no way I could simply drop him off to have all the fun, and decided to join at the same time. We now train together, and are working through the gradings at the same pace. Ruben is very patient at waiting for the old man to catch up.... We are now at Blue belt and haven't looked back! Thanks so much to the fantastic crowd at Chelmsford TKD, especially Ed and Nina who run an amazing class."

" It's really good for stress relief!"
